Kravica is one of the most beautiful waterfalls in Bosnia and Herzegovina, located in Studenci near Ljubuški.
Ljubuški is a small town in Bosnia and Herzegovina. The town is located on the left side of the bank of Trebižat, a river on which there are numerous waterfalls, the most famous of which are Kravica and Koćuša.
The Kravica waterfall is a favorite Herzegovinian picnic spot and summer swimming spot. The waterfall was formed by the travertine-bearing river Trebižat. It has a width of 120 meters and a height of about 28 meters. In the past, many mills and stupas for rolling cloth were active by the waterfall
The travertine areas around the Kravica waterfall belong to the geological natural monuments of Bosnia and Herzegovina.
The waterfall at the top has the shape of a semicircle. It is about 120 meters wide and is made of travertine. In summer, due to the lower water level in the pool under the waterfall, it is possible to swim and enjoy water sports.
The waterfall has been attracting many nature lovers for years. At any time of the year, due to major changes in the water level and changes in vegetation, the Kravica waterfall offers different and unique experiences.
